Invented by ultrasound technologists to improve scrotal exam & diagnostic procedures
Pre-Screening Confusion
Currently when performing scrotal ultrasound, the technologist has to ask the patient to remove all clothing from the waist down, take a towel and place across legs with scrotum on top, bring penis up and then cover with another towel. This request is an extremely confusing and awkward conversation and most men fail to heed instructions correctly.
Our
Story
During the screening, the testicles tend to slip down between legs, move around and are extremely difficult to image due to their mobility. Furthermore, the absence of a rigid platform behind the subject of screening reduces the efficacy of the sonography thus reducing accuracy of the images obtained.

Ultraview Medical Shorts guarantee better diagnostic images
A solid backing behind the object of examination for the sound waves to reverberate aides in better quality of diagnostic Ultrasound images. It also provides isolation and stability of that object. When screening a round object such as testicles, this stability is obviously compromised. The Ultraview Scroto Shield™ Short remedies this issue.

For example, testicular cancer is one of the most common and aggressive cancers for males, about 10,000 men are diagnosed each year. Epididymitis is very common and requires an Ultrasound to properly diagnose. Trauma, hernias, hydroceles, are all diagnoses that require Ultrasound Imaging. Our Scroto Shield™ Shorts improve patient diagnostics in all of these cases while providing better privacy for the patient and technologist or physician.
